MONTEZUMA – Leah Marie Daniels, 77, of Montezuma, a retired cook and waitress, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. She was a member of St. Joseph Church at Rockville. Mrs. Daniels was born in Kankakee County, Ill., on Oct. 22, 1896, a daughter of John and Minnie LeClair Remillard. She married Harry Daniels on Oct. 1, 1939. He survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lillie Charbonneau of Kirkland, Wash. Two brothers and three sisters are deceased. Friends may call at Butler Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Requiem mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church at Rockville with Father Lawrence J. Moran officiating. Burial is to be in Memory Garden Cemetery. – jlr
